See you in Scotland: Flood Resilience 2026

Next week, members of the Watertight team will be travelling to Edinburgh to take part in the Scotland Flood Resilience Conference 2026.

Tuesday 27 – Wednesday 28 January 2026

Dynamic Earth, Holyrood Road, Edinburgh

The annual conference provides an important opportunity for those working across the flood and water management sector to hear the latest thinking on how Scotland is progressing towards a more flood resilient future and to help shape what comes next.

This year’s programme is structured around two key themes:

Day One: Place — exploring coastal resilience, land use and place-based approaches to managing flood risk

Day Two: People — focusing on community engagement, communication and the role individuals and local areas play in resilience

Representing Watertight across both days will be Gareth Boyd, CEO, Mark Arrowsmith MCIWEM, Operations Director and Toni Clarke, Commercial Service Manager. They will be on hand to speak with delegates about the practical role that Property Flood Resilience plays in supporting wider flood risk strategies.

Whether you are involved in policy, planning, engineering, community engagement or frontline delivery, PFR plays an important part in the overall resilience conversation and our team will be on hand to answer questions about the design, installation and long-term management of PFR schemes in real-world settings.

We look forward to seeing you there.
