Services
We design, source, install and maintain bespoke PFR solutions for residential & commercial properties: a truly end-to-end flood resilience service.
What we do.
Watertight is the industry leading property flood resilience (PFR) management and solution provider. We offer a fully tailored, end-to-end PFR service.
We operate nationally across the UK and Ireland and an Environment Agency PFR Framework provider. Over the years we have protected thousands of properties, from the smallest rural cottages to industrial buildings or large urban schemes.
Our PFR project delivery service starts with initial consultation and flood risk assessment. We then move forward with survey, design, product specification, installation, as well as look after future maintenance and annual testing.
Creating a flood resilience strategy is a key step in risk control. We will assess your risk appetite and budget, establish existing property resilience and create a site-specific resilience strategy, focussed on implementing an effective, bespoke FERP (flood emergency response plan).
We will evidence the risk improvement and advise on risk sharing mechanisms (traditional and parametric insurance). We can also provide individual, site or community specific bespoke early flood warning, to include warning for surface water flooding.
All solutions are bespoke, delivered to meet client KPIs, by an in-house, employed team of qualified and highly experienced surveyors, project managers, design engineers and installers, using our proven ISO accredited PFR methodology.
Build Back Better in Bewdley
Paul Smith and his family live in a Grade-II listed property in Stourport Road, Bewdley, which has had three major flood events in two years. In 2020 there was 14 inches of dirty water in the property and they were out of the property for over a year.
By “building back better” using recoverability and resistance PFR measures, in February 2022, following three days of an equivalent flood (700mm of flood water at front door), Paul was back home watching TV.
We operate differently.
We do not manufacture products but provide an extensive range of bespoke services, advice and solutions.
We have excellent relationships with PFR industry providers and co-ordinate and project manage specialist flood risk assessments, product manufacture and professional services. Products selected as part of the design from partnering manufacturers are fitted by our own employed installation teams, which operate nationwide.
Each one of our install teams have been trained to the highest standards, in both technical and customer service. We are very proud of our reputation for adhering to and supporting the industry Code of Practice and always act impartially, without favouring any particular supplier of equipment, materials or services.
We believe in giving people the knowledge and tools they need to take proactive steps against flooding.
When people understand their risk and the measures best suited to their property, they can build meaningful resilience, reducing damage, disruption and the wider economic and social impacts of a changing climate.

“This was managed exceptionally well by Watertight meaning each property received all measures recommended in the initial property surveys. Watertight’s engagement even meant we had additional properties sign up to the scheme. The residents were very impressed with the quality of products installed and the standard of workmanship demonstrated by Watertight.”
