Green Policy

Watertight International’s products are designed to combat the effects of climate change not to contribute to them.

We design all our products to be as green as possible.

We use recycled materials wherever possible

• Up to 85 % of the material in our products is recycled.
• In particular, we recycle plastic and pvc - like old UPVC window frames.

We do it all in the UK

• All design, manufacture and distribution is done within the UK.
• We’ve even taken care to cut down the distances between the factories manufacturing
and assembling our products so as to reduce our eco-footprint.

Our products are low impact and unobtrusive

• Products are designed to have as small an impact on their surroundings as possible.
• When our barriers are not in position - virtually all the time, we hope - there is no unsightly frame or fixing on the
outside of the building.
• Even the fitting of our unique non-return valve fulfils this aim - no need to dig up the garden or drive to install an inline
valve with a manhole cover on top. Our valve simply pushes into the open end of the drain where it enters the sewage
system.

Our soon to be published Green Policy will detail a range of ways in which Watertight International is actively seeking to reduce the impact its products and their manufacture have on the environment - while at the same time having a positive impact on the way we combat the effects of climate change.
